Job Description

As a Parole Counselor you will monitor and evaluate the progress of offenders that have been released from prison or jail. You will maintain constant contact with the offenders and their families.

Responsibilities

• Coach and counsel offenders upon release from jail
• Attend hearings and court proceedings
• Draft reports and monitor rehabilitation progress

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills
• Applicants with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, sociology, or security law enforcement will be preferred for this position
