Job Description
Responsible for the administrative work of the city, county, state, and federal court systems. You will record and transcribe the minutes of proceedings, prepare the docket of scheduled cases, and administer the oath to jurors and witnesses.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling cases for judges
- Transcribing minutes of each proceeding
- Direct staff members and civilians
- Review legal papers and consult with court officials
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Highly organized
- Detail oriented
- Those with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or paralegal studies are preferred
